Kelly & The Pacemakers will be embarking on this Mighty Hike to raise money for a fantastic charity that did so much to help make my mother-in-law Anne Miller – a wonderful mum and granny – more comfortable in the closing stages of her life. Having also lost my mum Teresa Summers to cancer, this challenge means everything to my wife Kelly and I, and we hope to raise as much money as possible.
Team leader Kelly will lead myself, my dad John Summers, Daniel Magee, Lucy Hogg and Dean Keenan on this epic journey along one of the most beautiful coastlines in not only the UK but the world. It promises to be a real challenge for all of us and one we are very much looking forward to. The hike takes place on June 15.
